La-Mulana problems
There's two problems with La-Mulana via Tiggit;

1) The game does not run. Someone made a typo and tried to run a '.ex' file instead of the '.exe' file. Renaming the file fixes this.

2) The game is either not or not fully translated. The message you get when starting a new game was translated, but the elder's nonsensical rambling was untranslated. (Didn't check if more vital parts were untranslated.) I know a version of the translation exists where everything is translated, because that's the one I originally played.

(The game now also has some in-game problems, but that's because of my laptop. I still need to finish the game some day D: )

RE: La-Mulana problems
It's possible that this is the totally-untranslated version; parts of the original game were in English.

Tiggit should possibly have the capability to download a file, then download a translation patch, then apply the patch automatically as part of a single instillation. Or, of course, someone could just host the translated version somewhere.

Hmm, I just followed a link someone suggested for me. Could you help me find a version that's known to be fully translated?

Sorry I haven't replied earlier, I'm having some graphical problems with this version. I wanted to try it on another PC, but that didn't seem to help. Does it work on your computer?

It worked on my previous computer, but not on this one. The colors are either slightly off or totally off, depending on which F6 mode is used. In windowed it works perfectly, though.

I'm running Win7 on this computer, WinXP on the previous. What OSes did you try?

RE: La-Mulana problems
Both computers I tried are running Win7, and both are laptops with less-than-fantastic video cards.

Some googling turned up this. Seems like Windowed mode is the way to go. I didn't think to try that, but I'll try it next time I'm on a Windows PC again (not home and posting from linux right now.) If that's the trick we can just insert a notice/warning about it at the top of the game description.
